GZL Series high output rolling granulator without any additive
Brief introduction
GZL Series high output rolling granulator without any additive is mainly used to make irregular granules directly from powder of which the moisture content should be less than 10%. Without adding any adhesive, the dry powder will be rolled/ pressed into flakes by two rollers. Then the flakes will be crushed and sieved to make the qualified granules. Because the dry powder is mechanically rolled into flakes, the density of the granule products will increase 1.5 to 3 times than the powder.
Operation principle
The dry powder will be fed into the feeding hopper. After being degassed and compacted, the fed material will be mechanically introduced into two equal-sized rollers which are counter rotating by screw feeder. The counter-rotating roller will press the material into flakes. The flakes then will drop into a crusher which will grind the flakes into irregular granules. A sieving machine fixed at the bottom of the granulator will sift the granules to sort out the qualified granules. The unqualified granules will be re-granulated. The pressure needed for rolling can be regulated through the hydraulic system.
